MARION FAMILY YMCA to Offer Next session of  LIVESTRONG®at the YMCA

Our second LIVESTRONG program is wrapping up in a few weeks
at the Marion Family YMCA. The LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a
research-based physical activity and well-being initiative that helps
people affected by cancer reach their holistic health goals. 

Our summer program provides a range of activities to entice everyone'sinterest in an atmosphere that reinforces the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. In addition to swimming, crafts, sports and summer fun, each week of camp will have a unique theme! Each week will have its own special activities for campers based around its theme.

Themes like: Storyteller Week, Science and Technology Week ( A visit from COSI), Marion and Ohio History Week, Animal Exploration Week, Nature Week and the Greatest Race Week.

April 26 - June 7, 2014

Age Groups:  3-4 / 5-6 / 7-8 / 9-11 / 12-14

The Marion Family YMCA is offering a two week spring break pass for college students home on break March through April, 2014.

Cost is $20.00 for two weeks

Must have proof of currently attending college

Marion Family YMCA will be offering a Lifeguard training in April

Join us on Sundays for Family Swim 

Family Pool time - 4:00 - 6:00 pm - We will provide additional toys in the small pool.  During Family Gym & Swim, all children must be with an adult and all adults must be with children.

There are no additional fees for Family Gym & Swim, and families don’t need to register.  Those who are not members may participate with regular guest passes.


Autumn Semester – September, October, November and December:

· Provide an individual membership for a full time student (registered for at least 12 credit hours)

· $85 per semester  (This includes breaks within the semester and will run from August 21 through January 6, 2014)

· Cost changes to $45 if you join after October 31, 2013.

· Must show full time schedule. Healthier Communities – Marion is pleased to announce the opening of a new recreational marked bike route through the City of Marion. Thanks to the Marion Community Foundation, Nucor Steel, and many others we have a clearly marked ten-mile route through the city.
