The Marion Family YMCA has partnered with Marion City, Marion City Schools, and other community partners to operate the Rec and Resource Teen Center downtown. The passion and direction behind this project are to offer a centralized, safe location for teens to socialize, seek support, and engage in activities and resources that will help prepare them for success.
The Rec is located at 240 West Church Street in downtown Marion, Ohio.
The Rec Center comprises a gymnasium, teen lounge, art/maker space room, and Tech Lab. Teens will be able to access the facility using a membership card. Teen members will have access to both the Rec Center and the YMCA facility.
The center will be for grades 6 -12 and the cost is $16.00 per month.
Must purchase memberships in person and must be the legal guardian.
Financial Assistance is available.
The Teen membership can be used at the Rec Center and the Y.
Hours at the Rec Center starting March 10th will be Monday - Thursday 1:00pm-8:00pm
