FOR NATIVE AMERICAN
HERITAGE MONTH
Dreamcatchers are a fun and interactive way to keep the kiddos engaged while learning about Native Americans. The Ojibwe tribe first created dreamcatchers and it is believed that the dreamcatcher
catches the bad dreams while letting the good dreams through.
This craft encourages children to write their dreams in the feathers of this craft. Through this, the children are learning about the Native American culture and instilling social-emotional learning skills by setting goals and practicing a growth mindset.
